Happy Thanksgiving

This Thanksgiving was at our home this year. It was really nice. The food was delicious and the company was great. Lili helped unload the dishwasher, well tried to help at least. Mark came up & it was great talking to him and being with him, the kids just love him to death. The kids all played so well that the adults got to sit and talk a long while. We had games and crafts ready for the kids but they all played downstairs most of the time so we didn't do it, nobody even cared either. It was a nice relaxing day. I am so thankful for my family and living so close to my brothers and their families so the kids grow up together like siblings not just cousins. It is really nice. Thanks to all of you for you do for our family. We love you and miss you too!

Snow Angels

We had a blizzard last week, it was pretty bad but we didn't end up getting much snow out of it. I thought it would be a lot worse because I couldn't even see the house across the street from us most of the day. The next day the kids went out and played. Isabel didn't last long because for some reason Gaby was undressing her outside and she was crying her head off. It was pretty funny I have to admit. But they made some cool snow angels!

Playing in the Leaves

Enrique and the girls were out 'racking' the leaves before the big storm was to hit and guess what. They were just outside playing in them for hours. They had a ton of fun that's for sure.

Happy Birthday Liliana

Today is Lili's birthday. I can't believe our baby is 1 year old. This year has gone by super fast. What a wonderful year it has been with this little sweet baby in our family. She is such a happy baby. We had a family birthday party with Dave & Sean's family yesterday with cake and ice cream and presents. Today it was just a little one with our own little family. She loves when we sing happy birthday to her..we did a lot throughout the day. Lili opened up her presents from Ronnie & Angel then we went to Boondocks. Boondocks is a family fun center. They give children on their birthday a free day to play there all day. So we went and got the pass. Lili shared it with the girls. They did the kiddie bowling, marry-go-round, and arcades. They picked their prizes and then we were about to leave and we realized all the outside rides were included on the free all day pass. So Isabel and I went on the go-carts then Papi and Gaby went on the go-carts too. It was a blast. Everyone had so much fun. Happy birthday to our sweet Lili! We love you!!!!

Discovery Day

Today was Gaby's Discovery Day at school. She had to choose a topic to teach her class for 40 minutes. Well, she chose to tell them about her trip to Chihuahua with her Abuelitos this past summer & to teach them about Mexico, at least as much as she knows. It went fabulous. She did an excellent job. She was so proud of herself and so was I. She did most of the talking and I explained a little more in depth things but it was mostly her. The kids asked questions and she answered. Isabel had to add her 2 cents too it also. Whatever Gaby forgot, Isabel add it in. hahaha It was so funny. At the end, Gaby and Isabel passed out 2 different types of candies and all the kids got a toy bow & arrow. Then the teacher and kids kept telling Gaby and I how this was such a great discovery day and it was the best one by far! ESO!!

Little Miss Pianist

I walked out of the kitchen and this is what I saw. Lili climbed up on the stool to play the piano. She was loving it so much. She was playing it & laughing super hard.

Lili loves sunglasses

We went to do a bunch of errands when Enrique was home on Monday. Isabel was wearing her sunglasses and she let Lili try them. Well, that was teh end of that. Lili wore them through Sam's Club. She was loving it. She would wear them and laugh & giggle the whole time.

Trick or Treat

We went down to Enrique's s office to trick or treat. The kids liked it. The we went 'trunk or treating' at our ward, however it was raining so it was moved into the gym. It ended up being a huge trunk or treat and the kids got a ton of candy. They really enjoyed Halloween this year. They got to dress up and trick or treat 3 times.
