Happy Halloween

We went trick or treating at Papi's work this afternoon.  He looked so cool in his medical gear on.  We also got to see Mark Webber.  He was dressed up too and was pretty cool looking too.  We ate when we got home and then went trick or treating.  The kids had a blast.  Mateo ran from door to door, it was really cute.  The girls would say 'trick or treat' and Mateo said something that sounded like it, get his candy, turn around to run to the next one and then say 'gracias' while running away.  Lili was pooped out before Mateo was.  Papi didn't feel good after about an hour or so, so Mateo, Lili and Papi all came home.  The girls and I went for about another hour.  They had so much fun.  They all got way too much candy!!! 

Apples

During our ward clean up, Sister Vaudice Davis, pretty much begged me to take her apples.  It was kind of ironic she was our last yard to clean and she had so many apples that nobody seemed to want.  So we took at least 100 lbs of apples, and there is a ton more. 
So this week, I've neglected the kids, and potty training-yikes, and canned tons.  I was able to get 12 jars of apple pie filling, 24 jars of apple slices, and 20 jars of apple sauce (which 7 spoiled some how already).  No more sticky kitchen counters, floor, stove, sink or pee all over the house from Mateo.  Then Trudy Michael gave us lots of apples and 4 dozen jars on top of all the apples from Vaudice.  Thank you wonderful women from the bottom of my heart!

Bed Time

So much for sleep. Mateo wanted Papi to put him to bed.  Then he wanted Papi to lay down with him.  So he got a pillow and laid on the floor next to Mateo.  That wasn't good enough.  Mateo kept patting his bed, so Papi would get in with him.  So he did!!!! Man, Mateo has Papi wrapped around his pinky finger.  I walked past and saw Papi IN bed with him so I started taking photos and that little thing, being the ham he is, was hamming it up big time.  Then Lili decided she was hungry and needed a cheese stick since we were having a photo shoot after the lights had been out.  Little stinker!

Big Shoes

I love when the kids do this when they are so little and wear Papi's big shoes.  He sure does have big shoes to fill!!

Horse Jumping Competition

Isabel went with Auntie and Gracie to a horse jumping competition today to watch them.  She said it was really neat and fun.  Thanks Rachie!

Potty Time

Mateo looks like such a big boy sitting on his potty with his elbows on his knees.  I love it but he doesn't when I take photos of him on the potty.  hehehehe

 

Mama's Boy

I love how close Quique is with both of his parents.  He is such a Mama's boy too!

Abueltio and His NEW Hip

It was way passed bed time and Mateo was being such a ham.  He kept wanting to play with Abuelito.  He loves his Abuelito like no other, not even me!  They really do have a very special bond.

Finished

So here is the finished kitchen.  I LOVE IT!!!!!  Depending on the light, it looks grey or the blue that I love.  Thank you SOOOO much Papa and Quique for working SO hard to make it this beautiful!!!
