Lili's Preschool Halloween Party

Lili's preschool Halloween party was at a classmates house.  It was a lot of fun.  Mateo and Paige had lots of fun too.

New Ward's Halloween Party

We decided to be brave and go to the new ward's Halloween party tonight.  It was a ton of fun.  It was pretty funny though, we lost a few costumes in the move so the girls just grabbed something out of the dress up box.  They were good sports about it!  It was fun and met lots of friendly people.

Thal Family Night

We had our big Thal family night tonight.  It was a nice lesson but the activity was so much fun for everyone.  Holly brought home a parachute to play with.  It was so fun!  Everyone enjoyed it so much.  Thanks Hol!

Crazy Hair Day

I think the kids favorite day at school is crazy hair day.  They get all excited to have weird hair.  Me on the other hand, I think it's fun but I can't let my kids go with yukie hair out the door.  So as you can see, it's still neat and symmetrical....hahahahhaaha  I'm pathetic.  hahahahahaha

Kaysville Rental

We officially took the Kaysville house off the market with Annika, our Realtor.   I was at the new house painting but stopped to post the Kaysville house on KSL Classifieds for sale by owner and also to rent.  Annika also warned me of getting a lot of calls from other agents wanting to sell our house.  Man, I got SOOO many calls it was ridiculous!!!!  So I stopped answering the phone from unknown phone numbers.
While I was painting the big girls rook, less than an hour after posting it for rent, I got a call.  I looked at the number and didn't recognize it so I didn't answer.  Normally no agents left messages but this time the person left a message.  I listened to the message and I was in shock!  It was a woman asking to rent the house for her family for 6 months or so while their home is being built in Farmington.

I just dropped to my knees and thanked the Lord with all my heart.  We knew somehow things would work out but we just didn't know.  We really felt like it was meant for a specific family and this was the one.  However, I got another call from another man who really wanted to come see the house and rent it.

Now what do we do?  I showed both families the house and either one would be good and take care of it but we really felt strongly about the first family.  The spirit was too strong and overwhelming for the first family and we knew it was a right fit for both our family and theirs.  

So we're going to rent it for 6 months and then put it back on the market to sell during prime selling time and hope we can get at least break even point. 

Fixing Up the House

Papi took this past week off from work to fix up the new house.  One night we were at the house late and Dave & Holly show up, take our kids and feed them dinner.  Then they came back to help us paint while McKenna stayed home watching all 7 other kids.  A different day Erika stopped by for a bit to help me finish up the master bathroom while the little 4 kids played.  It's been a lot of work, hard work but fun in the process fixing this new house up.  It's fixed up enough that we can move in now.  We wanted to finish the whole thing but the main floor is mostly done, so we're just gonna do it.  We're all excited!!!
