Mini Trip- Logan

Mom and Jake were out here for a few days for Jake's USU orientation.  Our family didn't get to have much time with them so we tagged along with mom, at least, up in Logan.  The girls and I went up early in the day to hang out with O'Hara.  She is in charge of all the horses for USU so she took us into the corral with 15+ horses.  Many of which came up to us and at times, a little too close for comfort.  The biggest shock, is Mateo went to O'Hara after meeting her for 5 minutes, that never happens!  We pet the horses for a while then went to lunch.
After lunch, we were killing time to meet up with mom.  She was going to be done around 3:00 with the orientation stuff so we were going to meet her at the hotel and go swimming.  Well, mom got a bit delayed so we went to get the kids ice cream and then to O'Hara's house to get her swim suit.  We got back to the hotel and mom was there.
We went swimming for a while, the kids loved it.  They also got to go in the hot tub, which wasn't very hot at all, it was like a warm bath.  Mateo loved it. After being there for some time, Lili got out of the hot tub and jumped into the pool, alone.  She had her swim floaty on but it kept her on her belly and she couldn't get her face out.  I jumped in and grabbed her.  She was pretty scared and upset.  I took off her swim floaty and she wasn't allowed to swim anymore.  So mom took her and Mateo back to the room and O'Hara and I stayed with the big kids at the pool for a bit longer.
After the pool we went out to eat.  We decided to go to Olive Garden, since Lili was asking for meatballs and 'getti'.  Plus she was on the beginning of a huge meltdown, Mateo too.  Terrible timing to go out to eat.  I called Quique to make sure he got home safe and silly him was acting all suspicious.  I got off the phone and said, 'I think he is coming up here.'  Then realized if he was, he would have been there already.  We got seated at the restaurant and low and behold, my Poppet walks in.  I was so happy!  That was the best surprise ever!!!  We had to move tables and had a nice dinner with exhausted children!  We get back to the hotel, start getting the kids ready for bed and then O'Hara was about to leave.  The girls were so upset she wasn't staying over.  They really got attached to her. Thanks O'Hara for letting us kidnap you for the day.  It was awesome hanging out with you again!
The next morning Mom went back to the orientation stuff and we went to the pool.  We had a lot more fun, specially since Papi was there with us now.  Papi and Mateo stayed in the hot tub most of the time and the girls and I played in the pool.  Then it was time to come home.  We came home and Papi went straight to work.  He took 1/2 day so he could come play with us.  I just love my Poppet so much.  Thanks for surprising us Love, that was awesome!
