We went to Idlewild Park with Grandma, Joe, and Jake. The kids were really patient because it took us a while to actually get there. Once we did, the kids loved it. They were excellent, even Lili. We went to Storybook Forest first. It is an area filled with the classical childhood stories, poems, & rhymes. You just walk through and some of the stops you could go in and look around and others were just to look as you walk past. We did that pretty fast then we went to start riding some rides.
The kids and grandma rode the log jammer and a spider looking ride. Then we went to the water park. We got there an hour before the water park was to close. So we stayed until it closed, the kids were freezing but still not ready to go. My camera died right after we got to the water park so I only have a few photos and then non of the rest of the day, which I am quite upset about.
After the water park, we found a kids' park. It was all rides little kids could ride. Best of all, I didn't get any photos of Lili riding and rides for her first time. I was a bit upset. She rode the kiddie ferris wheel with Gaby. Lili was on one side and Gaby was on one side. She did great! She loved it, going in circles then high and low. She also rode these cars with Isabel and then all by herself. Next we went to the Turtle ride. Holy cow! If I had known how fast and jerky it was I wouldn't have let Lili go on. She was in the middle of Gaby and Isabel, she did not like that ride at all! Her face was so funny....like get me off of this thing!
We stayed until the park closed at 8pm. Lili fell asleep around 7:30 and slept all night long, with out waking up at all. We stopped to eat and as soon as we were back on the road, everyone fell asleep, except mom and I. They were all out for the night. They were hungry and tired but didn't say much because they were having so much fun. After their bellies were full, they were out for the count.
