Day Farms

Well, today we went to do our annual u-pick at Day Farms.  This year we only went for tomatillos and chilacas.  Lili and I picked the chilacas and then Isabel came over to help, we were done picking in less than 15 minutes of getting there.  They hadn't been picked by anyone yet and they were huge this year.  However, the tomatillos were over picked and not so big.  So we were picking a while for them.  The girls were husking them right there in the field.  Papi picked most of them, I helped pick a few pounds but then had to nurse the baby and then he wouldn't let me go.  It was a fun morning.  At the end we let the kids play in the mud.....they had a blast.
