After swimming lessons, we came home, packed the car and left for our annual Thal camping trip. We decided to go to the Unitas this year. We stayed in the Lost Creek campsite, near Mirr Lake. It was so beautiful. The kids loved it. We got there and set up first. The kids weren't allowed to play until we were all set up. Once we were, all the kids were running around exploring and loving being all together, all 10 cousins and the 2 babies stayed close to mom. They were catching butterflies like crazy. After a little while McKenna announced that they brought stuff to make some cousin para-cord bracelets. McKenna taught everyone how to do it and then all the kids lined up to choose their colors and we all started making them. It took a good while to get everyone finished. Mateo LOVED his. He didn't take it off. Then we realized we needed to start dinner and Mark had the firewood and hadn't arrived yet, so the kids were dragging dead wood from the forest to us to use for the fire, the kids thoroughly enjoyed it. We all brought tinfoil dinners for dinner so we needed to start the fire to cook our dinners. Everyone loves tinfoil dinners...a camping favorite! Then after dinner, more fun exploring then came the smores and bed time.
