Day 14- Utah State Unviversity

We took Jake to college today.  It was a long but fun day.  We left early because he still had to do a lot of shopping and Cooper's birthday party is in the evening.  So we got there, he checked in and then we helped him take his stuff to his dorm.  Uncle Ralph, me and the kids were playing 'eye spy' in the hall while Jake and mom were figuring out what Jake needed to buy at the store.  Then off we went to Walmart.  We spent forever in Walmart but he got what he needed.  We went to eat lunch then back to Walmart because the bank he decided to bank at is inside.  So he opened a bank account out here then we took him back to his dorm, help get set up- some what.   Then we all walked to the creamery.  We got some super yummy Aggie ice cream.  We dropped Jake back off at his dorm.  The kids were playing and doing so well while we were there most of the day.
We came home, ate dinner, went to Cooper's 3rd birthday party and made some homemade ice cream. Each grand kid had to have a partner.  So it was Gaby & Papi, Isabel & Uncle Ralph, Lili & Linsdey.  They all had a lot of fun making, shaking, and throwing the ice cream back and forth to each other.  Then it was time to say bye and go home.  I thought mom was leaving in the afternoon tomorrow but she is leaving early in the morning.  I wasn't ready to say bye til the next time she came out.  So, yep, I started crying when she told me it was early.  It was such a wonderful time having them all here and I didn't want it to end I guess.  I thought we still had half of a day with them.  So having said that, I didn't prepare the kids either, so Isabel cried really hard saying goodbye to Uncle Ralph, she had been glued to him the whole time.  We all said bye and came home sniffling in the car.
