We are on our way to the Bahamas!!!! The whole experience this time around is VERY different. We dropped the kids off last night at bed time. Before we took them over, we had our family prayer. Lili asked to say it. So she did. She prayed that 'mommy and papi cannot die on their ship going to the "Bokahamas" and that the waves won't swallow their ship and they can have fun and be safe in the "Bokahams".' It was so sweet. I did cry pretty hard , so did Isabel & Lili. I know the Lord listens even more carefully to prayers of little children. So I knew we'd be ok and me being terrified of cruises and being in the ocean went away after her prayer. We all hugged for a long time. I'm kinda of worried about Isabel and Lili. They've been crying the past few days about us being gone and missing us. Gaby & Isabel went to Sean & Erika's house while Lili & Mateo went to Dave & Holly's house for the week.
At the Denver airport, Quique HAD to get his shoes shined! Hahahahaha He wore his shoes just to get shined! He's been waiting since January when we flew through then. FINALLY!!!!
We arrived in Ft. Lauderdale, got our rental car and went straight to the welcome center to check in for the cruise. I was so nervous. My nerves were like as if we were coming back to the states from Mexico. My stomach was in knots. We went in, we had a different lady and she was very pleasant, friendly even. We were in and out in less than 5 minutes. We had tickets in hand and I was still uneasy for some reason. We checked into the hotel. THE hotel that was so disgusting and nasty, the Ramada in Ft. Lauderdale. Well, it didn't stink and our room was pretty nice. Last time on the comment card, we didn't hold back on how nasty and stinky the whole hotel was. Well, it's like they corrected EVERYTHING that we put. We couldn't believe how completely opposite it was this time. We went to have 'free' dinner in the hotel buffet. It wasn't as bad as we thought it would be, which was a plus.
Then we went and did a bit of shopping at Wal-mart then we went back to the hotel.
