Merry Christmas! Santa came to Mexico! We had a wonderful day. The kids woke up late and it was wonderful. They had a lovely time opening presents and playing with them all morning. It was fun just watching everyone enjoy what Santa brought them and sharing with each other and how excited they were for each other for each other got.
By afternoon, we got ready and went to visit Quique's Tia's, CuCu and Chelo. While we were there, Eduardo and his family, Paz and Conchita, and Emma were all there. It was nice to see them all and of course Eduardo "Chiquis" had to give me a hard time but when he realized how much I understand and can speak so much now, he let up and it was fun. Then he was giving Mateo a hard time but Mateo was understanding everything he was asking him to do. Chiquis was giving him coke to drink and kept telling him to close his eyes so he wouldn't see what he was drinking because we wouldn't let him drink it. hahahahah Mateo was doing it! It was hilarious. Then the kids were playing in the living room with their new toys while Quique and I were talking with the adults.
After we got home, we loaded up in the van and went to the park with the giant slides. We stopped and picked some cardboard boxes out of a dumpster so we could ride them down the slide. The kids remember this from every trip we've taken to Chihuahua. They call it 'the cradboard box slide". ahahaha We were there until after dark. We had so much fun. The kids were exhausted and some fell asleep on the way home. But we stopped and got Elotes Alex and we got some ice cream for the kids too. This has been such a wonderful trip!
