Lili's 8 Months Old

Our sweet Lili just turned 8 months old last week. We are so blessed to have her in our family. She is such a sweet happy little thing. She loves her Isabel so much because she is ALWAYS making her laugh by doing something silly. We love our sweet Lili!

Girls Weekend

Holly, Erika, & I got to have a girls weekend. Last year the boys went on a 4 day hiking adventure and they kept saying that us girls get a weekend away too. Well we FINALLY did it. Since I stopped nursing and before Erika has the baby we had time to go this last weekend. We didn't go far from home but it was a blast! We stayed at the Hilton downtown Salt Lake. We went to dinner Friday night and then the Gateway for some shopping. We were driving all over to find a place to get treats but it was so fun. Then we stayed up late just talking and talking and talking. Then Saturday we got up and talked more, like we don't see each other almost every day as it is! We left the hotel and went to find some yard sales. We found a few and we all scored some great bargains. Then it was off to the temple. We were going to go to the Salt Lake temple but it was closed for cleaning so we went up to the Bountiful temple. However, we saw Ross first and we just had to stop and shop there. We all got a lot of stuff. hehehe Then we went to the temple. That was such a nice experience to be with Erika and Holly in the temple. We have never gone just the 3 of us. After the temple what next you ask, more shopping. We stopped at Kohls and Target then we came home. We got home around 8:30pm. The car was packed full. Not much else could have fit in it. Oh, I forgot my camera so the only photos we have are when we got back. It was so nice to have a little get-a-way. Thanks Sean for the hotel and thanks to our great husbands for the kid free weekend!

Spaghetti

Lili was eating spaghetti just fine then all of a sudden went to crying. She ended up wanting her bottle and to go to bed. It was so funny though.

This is the first time they got to tak a bath together. They really had a fun time together.

Lili stands in her crib now. She will sit, kneel or stand growling for us to come and get her. She is so funny.

4th of July Fireworks

We went to the fireworks with Dave, Holly, Holly's parents, Sean, Erika, Erika's parents & siblings, and can't forget all the kids. It was nice. No one was scared. Lili liked them for awhile then couldn't be bothered with them so she was crawling over Papi and the grass (didn't like the grass so she pulled it instead).

Kaysville Parade

We went to the parade with Dave, Holly, Grandma Betty (Holly's mom) and kids. It was nice but really long. Isabel was done before it was but lasted until the end.

Family Time

This was our last night with Gaby and Enrique's family before they went back home. My brothers and their families came and we had another fun night all together again.

Temple Square

We went to Temple Square 2 days in a row. The first day we did the Conference Center, my battery on my camera died so there are no photos. The second day we finished Temple Square. It was really nice to take Enrique's family there and see them soak it all in.

Trampoline Time

We got a trampoline about a month ago and the kids just love it...everyone else too!

Happy Birthday Gaby

Gaby turned 6 years old last week. We had just a family party for her this year. It still was a lot of fun. We also celebrated Vanessa's 1st birthday, Vanessa is Angel's (Enrique's brother) daughter. Abuelito, Abuelita, Tio Angel, Tia Odette, Vanessa all came from Chihuahua for her birthday, then they took Gaby back with them. She will be there for 3 weeks then we will all go and get her. I can't believe she is 6 years old. Happy birthday Sissy!!!
