Miss Dahl

We were asked to decorate Miss Dahl's door for teacher appreciation week.  The theme was 'Thumbs Up to Burton Teachers.'  We had to go along those lines so we came up with 'Wings Up to Miss Dahl for helping us Wise Up."  Miss Dahl really liked it.  Isabel was so proud to have done it for her, Lili too.

Mama

Here is my cute Mama.  Joe went shopping with us and had Lili try the hat and sunglasses on.  She looked so cute and liked them so much, she bought them with her money.

The kids were having so much fun playing in the sand during Isabel's soccer practice.  Just had to take a few photos.

Rolling in Money

Isabel and Papi had made a deal that he would pay her $5 per box of chocolates she sold.  Well, she sold 9 boxes so Papi paid her $45.  Little Miss Money Bags!

Happy Easter

The kids had a little egg hunt in the front yard then they all found their baskets in different hiding spots.  Isabel wasn't so happy that hers was hard to find.....in the dishwasher but they all enjoyed looking and finding them in the end, specially eating the yummy things from the baskets.

Easter Egg Hunt

We ran to the Easter Egg hunt at Barnes Park this morning.  The kids had fun, even though we were leaving by 10 minutes after it started.

Yard Work

While we were painting the girls new room, Papi and Jake were outside doing yard work.  Then when we finished, we went out to help too.  Man, we worked all day but the girls new room and the yard looks so beautiful now.  We had to hurry up and finish so we weren't late for our family date......at the movie theater.  We worked hard and played hard.

Riding

I finally got to go watch Isabel ride.  I usually babysit Auntie's kids while she takes Isabel out riding.  We changed it to a bit later so the dad's could be home and I could go to watch.  It was SO amazing watching Isabel do her tricks and be able to control the horse and do what she wanted through her foot and leg commands, also through the reigns too.  They've been working on leg and feet commands and she's doing great.  Auntie Rachie was telling me how much Isabel has learned and how well she's progressing.  She said that she is doing great and she is gifted to ride.  Rach also said that she could enter competitions and do well in them.  However, she also said we'd have to get a new trainer in about a year if she wants to continue with riding because she'll be beyond her training ability.  It was super neat to be there watching her and having Rachel tell me all this and how natural it comes to her and how well and fast she's improving.  I was a proud mama for sure.
Avery also got to ride and had a blast. They got to ride next to each other and Isabel was helping give her a few pointers.  It was cool to watch.
Rach, your the best!  Thanks for doing all you do for Isabel.  Your love and passion for riding has helped Isabel's love and passion for riding a dream come true and we can never thank you enough!
