Bahamas Trip-Day 2

I finally got the excitement!!!!  It is real and sinking in fast.  My eyes shot open when I realized we were going to board the ship today.  I couldn't let Quique sleep, I was chatting his ears off.
We left the hotel pretty late.  Then we went straight to the Port of Palm, which is where the ship docks.  It was pretty cool.  We were coming up over the bridge and bam!  There was our ship.  It was so big, not as big as most cruises though, ours was a mid-size vessel, but it was still massive.
We had to go through all the check in procedures and stuff.  We were glad to get there early because we had the ship to ourselves basically.  We went and explored all over then decided to go have lunch on the ship.
We had lunch and met a family from New York that has cruised with this ship before.
After lunch we went and found our room and did more exploring.  Now, this time around, a ton more people were on board.
We had a 6:15 dinner reservation at the 'fancy' restaurant.  We were seated next to the window with another young couple and an elderly couple. We started sailing shortly after we were seated.  It was pretty cool sitting with other couples.  We clicked with the younger couple (Chris & Holly) right away.  They are from northern California.  Chris is a police officer and Holly is a stay home mom and was a teacher too.  We had so much in common, it was pretty cool.  They actually brought their children, Tyler-10 & Natalie-9, on the cruise too.  They were in the kids area while Holly & Chris came to dinner.  The older couple were telling us about all their previous travels, they were so funny.  We actually ran into the older couple the rest of the night.
During dinner I started getting really sick.  I took a Dramamine pill, which didn't seem to help.  The ship was rocking so bad that we couldn't even walk straight down the hallway with out falling over.  We kept going from side to side.  Good thing that the ship has railings along side all the walls.  Funny thing is taht we didn't even notice them until we needed to hang on to them.  hahaha
After dinner, we went over to 'The View'  where all the main entertainment was held.  We got there during the magician's act and stayed for the comedian's act.  He was hilarious.  I haven't laughed that hard in a long time.  We ended up staying to see the whole thing over again since we missed the first hour of it.  But in between the performances, we went up on the top deck so I could get some fresh air.  I was getting really sick and not feeling so great.  Then we went back down to watch the performances.  It was good but not as funny this time around, only because I was feeling so awful.  After it was over, we went to our room and I was out fast, luckily.
