Gaby's 3rd Birthday Dinner Party

Gaby chose to go to Texas Roadhouse for her birthday dinner.  She got to have a special meal, sit on the saddle while the whole place sings to her and then they brought her a dessert too.  She loved it!

Seven Creek Crossing

We went to Seven Creek Crossing with Grandma and the boys.  We had a picnic lunch there too.  The kids loved it.  This creek winds around the woods a lot and you drive over it 2 times and through it 5 times.  It is really cool because we open the back doors and the water almost comes in as we cross through.

Then the girls were off Joe looking for Cray Fish.  Lili was with Jake for a while then Grandma.  They had so much fun.  No one wanted to get out to eat.  We ate, it was so funny.  We got a fruit try from the store and once it was opened everyone pounced on it and it was gone in a matter of minutes.  After eating the went on a walk through the creek and then it was time to go.  It was way past time for Lili to take a nap, but it was so much fun!

On the way home we took a fairy ride across the Monongahela River.

Gaby's First 7th Birthday Party

Granny had a little birthday party for Gaby.  She rode out on the stick horse in a 'cape' to deliver the invitation to Gaby herself.  The invitation said, "Gaby, Isabel, Uncle Rob, and Pap Pap, you are invited to a birthday party in Granny's house right now! Love Granny."  Of course, the kids went running in.  Granny and I decorated while the kids were outside with Pap and Uncle Rob.  Earlier they had decorated the cupcakes themselves.  It was fun.

My little dirt devil!  That's chocolate cupcake she rubbed into the carpet.  YIKES!  Sorry Granny!!!
 Lili absolutely loves Uncle Rob!

Uncle Dave's Family

We went to visit Uncle Dave's family one last time before going home.  The kids were suppose to swim but it was raining so they couldn't, which was a good thing.....I was a bit apprehensive about the kids swimming.  We had a nice time with them.  Zack played his new guitar for us and then Josie played her flute for us also.  Then I didn't see my kids for some time.  Isabel was off with Josie and Gaby was with Zack, while Lili was roaming between everyone and everything, mainly with the dog.  It was great spending time with them.  They are hoping to come out to visit in the next couple of years.

The photo with Granny was right before we left for Uncle Dave's house.  She was off to a graduation party and looked ravishing!

A Pap Pap Date

Pap Pap took the big girls on a date.  They were so excited.  They went to play putt-putt golf.  It had been storming off and on all day.  They left during sunshine but once they got there it poured down rain for 45 minutes.  They stayed under a pavilion and then finished.  They had a good time.  They were gone for 2 1/2 hours.  Pap forgot to take photos while they were playing so this is the only one from their date.  Thanks Pap Pap!

Pittsburgh National Aviary

So today we went to the Aviary.  The kids were going crazy over all the birds and kept saying they need to tell Marky Karky all about it.  Gaby was asking questions to find out more about the Scarlet Macaw to tell Mark about it, then she was asking us to read the signs to her so she and Isabel could tell Mark about the birds.

We got to the Penguin exhibit and we first went outside.  It smelled so bad, Isabel held her nose the entire time.  We went in and the kids could climb in and under the exhibit to watch the penguins swim and climb around.  Lili really liked them, she got all excited when she saw them swimming.

We took a picnic lunch and at the end, Isabel and Granny were trying to feed this squirrel.  So I got a picture of it eating the bread, which the kids loved watching him eat it.  It was a nice outing.
