Bahamas Trip- Day 6

We arrived in Port of Palm early this morning.  We went up to the pool area to have breakfast before we disembarked.  We got our food and sat down to eat.  Then I forgot  a spoon so I went to get one.  As I grab it and turn around, Natalie is running up to me, saying, 'There you are!  I'm so glad we get to see you again.'  It was sweet.  So I was talking with Holly, Chris and the kids again.  They just finished eating and were on their way to leave.
We finished eating, grabbed out luggage and started to leave too.  We wanted to hurry, not really rush, but get off early so we weren't in line all day going through customs.  Well, we thought we were ok.  Once we got off the ship, there was a line on the second floor.  We came to find out, that they fill the bottom, working everyone through a zig zag line then hold everyone upstairs until more space was available downstairs.  As we were waiting, Holly, Chris & the kids were about 20 people behind us.  So we got to talk with them a lot as we kept passing each other in line.  I asked the kids what they chose as souvenirs from the tienditas.  They were so excited telling me all they chose.  Chris also said, they extended their trip in Boston.  It was supposed to be a layover but they were going to stay for a few days there.
Once we got through customs, we took a photo with them, since we hadn't done that yet.  Then Natalie asked if she could take a photo on her ipod with Quique and I.  They are such a sweet family.  I hope we can always stay in contact with them.  I really want our kids to meet what a wonderful family they are.  Hopefully one day we can get back together with them.
After we got our car back, we started driving south.  We found a whole bunch of LDS churches in the area, chose one that was the right time and went to church.  We found out that we couldn't go to the temple open house today but we could tomorrow.
After church we went down to Florida City to check in to our hotel.  Yet another nap, man.....it seems like we napped and watched TV a lot.  It really wasn't, just way more than we do at home....which is slim to none.
We got to talk to Gaby & Isabel.  It was great hearing them and telling each other what's happened the past week.  We couldn't get of hold of Lili & Mateo though.
We decided to go back up to Miami and go to Bayside, where all the Latin dancing goes on.  But before we went dancing we finally got a hold of Dave to ask about Lili & Mateo.  We found out that Lili was sick and throwing up.  She had fallen asleep on Grandma Betty's bed so we couldn't talk to her, because they went for dinner after church.  I felt so terrible.  She was sick and we're out having a grand ol' time.  Mateo was his normal happy self.  I had a hard time after finding out that Lili was sick and there was nothing we could do.
Sure enough, there was Latin music and people dancing.  We watched for a bit, then it started raining.  So we decided to walk around the inside part of the mall.  Well, we ended up by the a restaurant that offers live Latin music.  However,  I think you have to pay to get in because one side is partitioned off with a clear plastic but you can still see the band.  Last time we were there, their were tons of people dancing on the sidewalk.  So this time we were the only ones dancing on the sidewalk.  People walked past, smiling at us and some stopped to dance a little but mostly it was just us.  It was really cool actually.  Then we went back to were the stage is and danced more there and watched.
I expired so we left, I think around midnight.  I am such a party pooper for my night owl!  Sorry love but it was lots of fun!!
