Boondocks

Isabel went to Boondocks today for her b-day.  She wasn't there very long because almost everything was closed outside except the bumper boats.  Then they went to the mall and had lunch at Chick-fil-a.  She came home and she was so thrilled.  I don't know why but that one is absolutely fascinated by the mall.  She loves going there.

Movie Night & Lights

Tonight we had a movie night in front of the fire, Miracle of 34th Street.  The kids love when we do this.  It was one of those tender mercies.  Just all being home all together, safe, healthy, and happy.  I love my sweet little family so much!  I am so proud to be their wifey and mom!!!
So we put the kids in bed for about 10 minutes, then we went and told them to get their coats and shoes on and get to the car.  We gave them time to go potty too and then we left.  We took them up to the Layton Lights.  It is always super neat.  The kids really liked it.  It's always fun to take them to see all the lights there.

Church

We were ready for church early enough to take a few nice photos of the kids.  I feel like we hardly have any of them all together.  So here are some good ones too.  My handsome little boy in his new suit!

Thal/Darbous Reunion

We got together with the Darbous family this evening at Sean's house.  It was so nice.  We haven't seen each other in 7 years or more.  We were very close with this family growing up in Pittsburgh.  Four of the six children live here in Utah and their parents were visiting.  I haven't seen Gail and BD since I got married.  It was wonderful seeing them, picking up like it hasn't been so many years, only seems like days.  All the kids got a long so well too.  Angie has 4 kids, Larry has 1, Autumn has 4, and Amber has 3 kids (Heather has 3 too but they live in AZ).  We all agreed that we have to do this yearly at least.  It was so nice to see everyone.  Oh, I almost forgot, Larry and Sean decided there should be an iron man test.  hahaha  just like growing up.  So many of the adult boys and kids 8 and older ran around the block bare foot (don't forget it's been snowing the past 2 days and freezing out side).  Not just once did this happen, but many times.  The kids loved it and wanted to keep doing it.

Santa

We went to see Santa at Smith's.  He was the best Santa we've ever been to.  He was so great.  The kids loved him!

Miss Bonnie's Present

Papi was home today so he took Lili to preschool and picked her up.  She came home with a candied filled gingerbread house and Miss Bonnie gave her a really cute blanket with dogs and cupcakes, 2 of her favorite things.  She really likes it.  She walked around with it all day today.  Thanks Miss Bonnie.

Snow Fall

It's been snowing the past few days and it's still falling this morning.  It is so beautiful!  Mateo was helping Papi shovel the sidewalks.  It was so cute.
