Breakfast

Grandma made pancakes and invited us over.  So we went over.  We were missing McKenna and Caden, other than that, all the cousins were there.  Kenzie even lost her tooth eating pizza the night before and the toothfairy came.  She was so happy.

Isable's Program

Today was Isabel's end of year singing program.  It was cute.  She did a great job.  She was super excited because she got to play the xylophone, which required a 3rd grade skill level.  She was so excited.  She had practiced her part so much.  When it came time to do it, the music teacher forgot to put on the proper keys (it's the kind you can change around) and Isabel didn't worry, she just went with the flow and didn't miss a beat.  She did fantastic!  Way to go Isabel!

Clothes

Mateo has been choosing to dress like this the past week or so.  He's so funny.  He HAS to wear a collared button up shirt with a tie, so he can be like Papi.  He's also been wanting to wear this hat all the time because he just got it.  Oh my sweet boy!

Cousin Fun

We went over to visit with Grandma and the little cousins while all the big kids were at school.  They had so much fun.

Isabel's Chocolate Bars

The girls really wanted to sell chocolate bars for the school's only fundraiser.  We talked with Isabel and Gaby about it and what was expected.  They had to sell a box of chocolates for $1/bar.  The box had 60 bars.  If they didn't sell a whole box, they still had to pay the school $60.  So we told them they would have to pay the difference, not us if they didn't sell a whole box.  We also told them we'd pay them $5 for each box they sold.  However, Gaby chose not to sell. 
Isabel on the other hand, wanted to sell them and seemed very determined.  Over the course of 1 day, she had sold most of the a box.  She called everyone we knew and asked if they wanted to help her school get new technology and so on.  She had her made her own sh-peal to tell everyone.  Then before she was done, she'd ask them, "Do you know anyone else that likes chocolate?"  It was hilarious.
Because she was so determined, Karky offered to take some in to his work.  She wrote a letter to go along with the chocolate bars.  He took the note and 20 bars.  They were gone before 9:00am.  From then on, he kept asking for more and more boxes of chocolates.  The guys at his work decided to have Isabel be the top seller at her school, so they kept buying them all.  He ended up taking 5/6 boxes of chocolates in and selling them all.  Uncle Seth, Holly's brother, ended up buying a whole box and then his wife, Gina, took it to her work to sell.  Isabel wrote them a very nice thank you letter and sent it to them in the mail.  
Papi also took some to work and Isabel wrote a letter for his work too. The ladies bought a few but just gave some money instead of eating the chocolates, which was pretty cool.
Over the course of the next 4 weeks, Isabel sold 9 boxes of chocolates, her goal was to sell 4.   She was the only child in school to sell that many.  We are SO proud of her.  We also paid her $45 and she was ecstatic to say the least.
Today was her assembly at school.  She got $55 from school for being top seller.  She was super excited.  We were so proud of her.  I was a bit disappointed with the assembly though.  I thought they'd make it more special for her since she out sold anyone by at least 3-4 boxes.  I thought they would give her a ribbon at the very least saying top seller but they didn't.  We knew she'd get the $50 for top seller then she got to choose a money envelope and it had a $5 in it.  But they just rushed over her and it wasn't all that special , it seemed.  I was a bit bummed but she was so excited that she won money and we were there....and that's what counts.

Lunch

We got home from church and all 6 of them were starving.  So they all wanted to sit on the kitchen floor and eat, weirdos!  hahahaha

Snuggle Time

The kids woke up and needed to snuggle with Papi for a while.  It was really sweet!
