Chihuahua- Day 1

We arrived to Enrique's parents' house around 1:30am.  We were unloading and Angel, Odette, and kids showed up.  It was great to see them.  Santiago is a month older than Mateo and looks so big and cute.  Within our first 5 minutes at Abuelitos house, Gaby fell on the stairs (which are glazed tile, very slick and sharp on steps) and cut open her head a few inches.  She was bleeding and Enrique put the magical arnica and Abuelita put on some special tape.  We should have taken her to get 4 or 5 stitches but we didn't, we had the 'bruja' (witch doctor-Abueltia) on our side.  We stayed up a bit longer and then we went to bed.
Angel and AnaLaura and their families came over and the kids played and played and played.  They had so much fun.  However, this time Isabel got hurt.  They were running around on the patio (which is all cement- slick also) and she tripped over the watering hose.  She slammed her face into the cement and instant swelling, black and blue and bulge on the left side of her face.
Our first day was running around getting things ready for the family reunion that started the next day, but visiting the entire time.
