Trip to Chihuahua

We decided to leave Wednesday evening, get as far as we could and just stop at a hotel along the way.  Everything was ready to go so we could leave when Enrique got home from work.  We were on the road by 6pm.  We ended up stopping in Monticello at a little place there.  The kids were sleeping but as soon as we got there they went crazy.  They had to jump on the beds and investigate everything.  Then they got in bed and were out.  We tried getting up early the next morning to get out the door but couldn't.  We were on the road by 7am.  We finally made it to El Paso, TX around 7pm.  We parked our van at the airport in long term parking and Enrique's parents picked us up.  We ended up getting to there house at 1:30 am.  It was a very long two days of traveling but all the kids did great.  No breakdowns, no crying, just lots of potty breaks!  Total time to get to Chihuahua 30 hours (Abuelita had to do some shopping in El Paso before we left and the boarder took a long time).

Lili's eating cheese balls, check out Isabel!  haha

Jumping time!

Papi's attacking them.

Too excited to sleep.

2 minutes later, out cold!

Pulled over in Gallup, NM to nurse the baby
and the girls got to play in McDonald's.

This part of the road is super bumpy like a rollercoaster,
hence the arms in the air (near Shiprock, NM).

Finally to El Paso!  Ronnie took the girls to go potty.
