Day 6 - AnaLaura's House & Primos Dinner

We spent the day at AnaLaura & Carlos' house.  It was a ton of fun!  We got there and had a yummy breakfast.  Then AnaLaura's kids opened all the presents from Abuelito and Abuelita and from us.  They were so excited. Then all the kids went outside to play.  It was the first time in a while that AnaLaura's kids were allowed to go outside because of the chicken pox (which are almost gone now). Santa brought Laila, Andre, and Hiram two Avalanchas, little go-cart little bikes.  Man, it was so fun watching the kids have so much fun and pushing & driving each other around the park over and over again.  We went back in and the kids played inside for a while with their new toys.  Mateo had taken his army guys over to play with and Hiram got a nurf-like gun that they were sharing shooting the army guys off the steps.  Hiram and Mateo played so well together, it was really cute.  They played inside for a while and then went back outside to the park with the Avalanchas again.  Then we also were playing catch with the football. It was so nice spending time with  AnaLaura and Carlos.
Then we realized the time and we had to leave because the cousin get together was soon.  We dropped the kids off, fed them quick, and Gaby babysat all 5 other kids while we went to the restaurant for the cousin get together.  She watched our kids, Vanessa & Santiago.  We left just before 6:00 and got back just after 9:00pm.  We've never left her that long in charge and she did a great job.  We called a few times to check on them and then by the end, Gaby called to talk to Tio because Vanessa was really missing them and she couldn't calm her down anymore and she was getting nervous.  She did a great job and asked for help when she didn't know what else to do.  I'm so proud of her!
It took everyone a while to get to the restaurant.  Angel, Odette, AnaLaura, Carlos, Quique and I were the only ones there for an hour then everyone started showing up.  We started eating around 8:00 after most were there.  Man, it was crazy.  I knew it would be crazy, loud and fun....boy was it ever!!! We were taking photos of the group and it was an ordeal.  Then during dinner, some were singing, telling jokes, and just the laughter of it all was great and could not be contained.  It was a great evening.  It was a lot of fun.
