New Mexico

Driving through New Mexico was beautiful.  Here are some photos of the sunrise and our drive.  We met Abuelito and Abuelita in Deming, New Mexico.  It was great to see them.  Abuelita needed to shop at Walmart so we went.  Then Maricarmen (Quique's cousin), Marco and their kids, came and met us there.  They live 1 1/2 hours away in El Paso but came to visit.  It was fun visiting with them but they're crazy for driving so long for such a short visit.  Thanks guys!  It was wonderful to see you.
We ended up driving our car into Mexico, for the first time in 8 years.  I was a nervous wreck. Abuelito, Papi and the kids were in Abuelito's truck and Abuelita was driving with me in the car. That way Papi and I could rest and not drive since we only had 2 hours of sleep.
After we crossed the border we drove a while then stopped at a really nice place for gorditas.  They were really yummy.    We ended up parking our car at a place where the Mennonites take care of cars from the USA, then off to Abuelito's house, which was only 20 minutes away.  So we left our car there for the 2 weeks.  Hope it's all ok when we pick it up.
Once we got to Abuelito and Abuelita's new house, they showed us all around, the kids were playing, we unpacked a bit and then ate.  After we ate we all went to bed so we wouldn't be too tired for church tomorrow.
